MEMPHIS -The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to guilty pleas by Guang Huang, age 60, owner of KK Market, 2200 Pendleton Street, Memphis, Tenn., and his son, Jian Huang, age 33.
Jackson, Tenn. - The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to the arrest of Mutee Hussein Fadah, age 39, of Madison County, on Sept. 16, 2009. Fadah, the former owner of J Mart, located at 1625 E. Chester Street, was arrested by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department on two counts of failure to pay sales tax and one count of theft of property.
GREENEVILLE, Tenn.– The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to yesterday’s guilty plea by Porshia Pauline Cutshaw, age 57, former owner of The Tobacco Barn.
NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Revenue’s Special Investigations Section conducted the investigation that led to yesterday’s guilty verdict by a Sumner County jury of Keith A. Howard, age 41, on a Class E felony count of Sales Tax Evasion and a Class E felony count of Forgery. Howard faces sentencing on Oct. 16, 2009, for filing false and fraudulent documents with the Sumner County Clerk’s office that intentionally understated the purchase price of a Prevost bus he registered. Howard provided documents to the clerk’s office representing the purchase price as $62,500. The actual purchase price was $625,000.
