ECD Launches New Tennessee County Data Sheets

Research Tool Offers Facts and Figures on Each of Tennessee’s 95 Counties

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development announced today its newest online research tool, the Tennessee County Data Sheets. The latest reports are a complement to the Community Data Sheets already in existence and provide detailed information on all 95 of Tennessee’s counties.

“These reports are an excellent resource for prospects and site selectors to learn valuable, up-to-date information on Tennessee’s many diverse areas and industries,” said Commissioner Matt Kisber of ECD. “Providing easily accessible information on the Web for those looking to expand or locate in Tennessee is essential to remaining competitive in our state’s recruiting process.”

The County Data Sheets provide trend information and facts regarding population, labor force estimates, taxes, industries, income, education, retail sales, livability, parks and recreation, golf courses, industrial growth and top county manufacturers. To view them please visit https://www.tnecdit.net/TN_Datasheets/.

The reports were developed in response to feedback received from community and county officials, as well as ECD staff, regarding the need for such a resource. ECD’s Research and Strategic Planning Department, which works to identify, develop, maintain and disseminate the most up-to-date business and economic data available, prepared the information.
